Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-3-65 to strip custody, visitation, and inheritance rights from persons convicted of rape or criminal sexual penetration when the offense resulted in conception of a child.

Applies to convictions under Mississippi law or equivalent convictions from other states, jurisdictions, territories, or tribal authorities.

Requires courts to automatically stay any paternity proceedings involving the child and alleged offender until criminal charges are finally resolved.

Effective July 1, 2013.
