Grants the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshal and deputy state fire marshals authority to arrest without warrant for misdemeanors or felonies committed in their presence, but only for violations of fire-related laws and regulations under Chapter 45 or Chapter 49, Title 75.

Authorizes fire marshals to pursue and arrest offenders anywhere in Mississippi, execute warrants related to fire laws, investigate violations, and assist peace officers in manhunts or natural disasters.

Clarifies that fire marshals do not receive general police powers, and requires all deputy fire marshals hired after July 1, 2013 to complete the Law Enforcement Officers Training Program.

Amends Section 99-3-7 to reference fire marshals' arrest authority under Section 45-11-1 rather than general law enforcement arrest statutes.

Effective July 1, 2013.
