Allows up to 5 excused absences per school year for compulsory-school-age children participating in official organized events sponsored by 4-H or Future Farmers of America (FFA), with written documentation required from the Extension Agent or FFA Advisor.

Allows excused absences for compulsory-school-age children officially serving as pages at the Mississippi State Capitol for the House of Representatives or Senate during legislative sessions.

Modifies the definition of "compulsory-school-age child" to include children who are age 5 on or before September 1 and have enrolled in full-day public school kindergarten, removing a previous one-time disenrollment option.

Authorizes local school boards to permit use of publicly owned school buses for transporting citizens to historic commemorative events held on military parks located within the school district, with school board approval and military park indemnification agreement required.
