Corrects internal Mississippi Code references from Chapter 3 (Section 79-3 series) to Chapter 4 (Section 79-4 series) of Title 79 regarding the Model Business Corporation Act in sections 27-13-5, 27-13-7, 27-13-17, 79-7-1, and 79-11-57.

Updates franchise tax reporting requirements for domestic and foreign corporations to reference Section 79-4-16.22 instead of outdated sections 79-3-249 and 79-3-251.

Allows combined returns of franchise tax, income tax, and annual corporate reports to be filed in accordance with commissioner regulations.

Repeals Section 79-17-41, which previously provided procedures for changing the corporate form of a cooperative association.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
