MS HB99

Prohibits the Mississippi Division of Medicaid from implementing or operating any managed care program, coordinated care program, coordinated care organization program, health maintenance organization program, patient-centered medical home program, accountable care organization program, or any combination of these programs after July 1, 2014.

Requires any such programs already in operation on July 1, 2013, to be terminated by July 1, 2014.

Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117 from July 1, 2013, to July 1, 2014, along with certain provisions related to dental services and other Medicaid benefits.

Maintains existing Medicaid service coverage and reimbursement rates that were in effect prior to the managed care prohibitions.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
