Honors United States Army Private First Class Patricia L. Horne of Greenwood, Mississippi, who died in the line of duty on August 24, 2012, in Bagram, Afghanistan, one month after deployment.

Recognizes Horne's service as a Human Resource Specialist with the 96th Aviation Support Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division, and her receipt of the Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and NATO International Security Assistance Force Medal.

Notes that Horne was a 20-year-old 2010 graduate of Greenwood High School who joined the Army in August 2010 and was buried with full military honors on September 8, 2012, at Hudson Park Cemetery in Greenwood.

Extends deepest sympathy to Horne's family, including her mother Betty Horne and five siblings, and acknowledges her as among at least 81 soldiers with Mississippi ties who died in Iraq and Afghanistan operations.

Directs that this resolution be presented to Private First Class Horne's family and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
