Commends the life, legacy, and heritage of Reverend Nathaniel Vinson Booker, who passed away on January 22, 2013, and extends sympathy to his family and friends.

Reverend Booker was born April 10, 1934, served as a pastor for over 40 years, and led eight churches including Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, White Chapel Baptist Church, and New Galilean Baptist Church.

Reverend Booker was married to Geneva Williams for 53 years and is survived by three children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six brothers, two sisters, and extended relatives and friends.

Reverend Booker was recognized for his preaching ability, spiritual guidance, and passion for gospel music, having recorded with the Jackson Superiors and the JC Disciple Singers.
