Commends Bishop Jonathan Tate, Sr. on his 50th anniversary as Pastor of Anointed Temple Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Recognizes his five decades of spiritual leadership and religious excellence serving Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas as Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas Diocese Bishop.

Notes his credentials as a certified counselor with a master of theology degree and his support from his wife of 56 years, seven children, 17 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Acknowledges his numerous honors from organizations including the NAACP and Gulfport Chamber of Commerce, and his recognition as the "Remnant Preacher of the Old Path."

Directs the Legislature to extend congratulations and God's blessings to Bishop Tate and distribute copies of the resolution to him and the Capitol Press Corps.
