Commends the life, legacy, and service of C.E. "Red" Bailey, a Hattiesburg leader who passed away on March 4, 2013.

Recognizes Bailey's career achievements including 16 years with Mobile Gas Company, construction work, and service as production manager at Miller Picking (Johnson Controls) until his 1981 retirement.

Honors his community contributions including co-founding the Tally House Bed and Breakfast, restoring 30 historic homes, and serving on Hattiesburg City Council from 1997 to 2006.

Acknowledges his role in major Hattiesburg projects such as renovating the Saenger Theater, Train Depot, and Cultural Center, and his post-Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts working with FEMA.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Bailey's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
