Honors and celebrates the life and legacy of Bill McPeters, a long-time funeral director in the Corinth area who passed away on March 2, 2013.

Recognizes McPeters as the oldest active and licensed funeral director who served approximately 10,000 families throughout his career at McPeters Funeral Directors.

Notes McPeters' distinctive personal style including a lime-green hearse, brightly colored suits, red snakeskin boots, and unconventional approach to treating funerals as celebrations of life.

Expresses deepest sympathy to his surviving family members: wife Judy, daughter Kayo, and son Mark, following his death from severe burns sustained in an October 17, 2012 accident.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to McPeters' family, his funeral home, and the Capitol Press Corps.
