Commends and congratulates the Oxford High School Chargers Boys Soccer Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 5A State Championship in the 2012-2013 season.

Team defeated the eight-time State Champion Pearl Pirates 2-0 in the championship game and defeated Neshoba Central, Center Hill, and defending State Champion Starkville High School in the playoffs.

Lists 43 team members on the championship squad and recognizes Head Coach Jamie Perkins (four-year record of 46-9), Assistant Coaches Mike Melton and Adam Trobaugh, and Manager Mykail Clark.

Praises the team's winning spirit, cooperative attitude, sportsmanship, and credit brought to Oxford High School.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Coach Perkins, Principal Michael Martin, the Oxford School District, and Capitol Press Corps.
