Commends Mrs. Martha Ann Rice Vaughn for over eight decades of service as an educator and community pillar in Starkville and Oktibbeha County, Mississippi.

Recognizes her 39-year teaching career across six elementary schools and one middle school, during which she taught numerous students who became doctors, lawyers, professors, and other accomplished citizens.

Acknowledges her educational credentials including a high school diploma from Oktibbeha Training School (1946), bachelor's degree in elementary education from Tougaloo College (1959), and master's degree in education from Mississippi State University (1970).

Honors her community service roles including school principal, boys basketball coach, 4-H Club leader, Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 40, and active member of Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.

Directs copies of the resolution to be provided to Mrs. Vaughn and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
