Commends and congratulates the Scott Central High School Lady Rebels Basketball Team and Head Coach Chad Harrison for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 2A State Championship in the 2012-2013 season.

Team finished the season with a 33-4 record and won a 52-49 championship game victory against top-ranked New Site High School Lady Royals on a 25-game winning streak.

Highlights Victoria Vivians' fourth-quarter performance in which she scored 21 of her game-high 42 points, including back-to-back 3-pointers and a 30-foot 3-pointer that tied the game at 43-43.

Team also won the Class 2A South State Championship, Division 6 Class 2A Tournament Championship, Division 6 Class 2A Regular Season Championship, Scott County Tournament Championship, and Newton Invitational Tournament Championship.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Coach Harrison, Principal Debbie Herring, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
