Commends Dr. Jerry Babb Gulledge, Sr. upon his retirement on July 25, 2012, after 56 years of medical practice as a physician and general surgeon in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

Recognizes Dr. Gulledge's medical accomplishments including delivering over 3,500 babies, serving as Chief of Staff at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital, and maintaining a private practice for 53 years.

Acknowledges his public service as Alderman-at-large for Crystal Springs for 36 years, including service as Mayor Pro Tempore, and his community involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and Rolling Hills Country Club.

Honors his charitable contributions and church involvement, including donating 20 cherry trees and financial support to Lake Chautauqua Park and serving on committees at Crystal Springs United Methodist Church.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Dr. Gulledge and the Capitol Press Corps.
