Commemorates the life and legacy of Mrs. Maggie Olegan Dunlap Allen, who was born January 31, 1914, in Gulfport, Mississippi, and passed away on March 16, 2013, at age 99.

Recognizes her educational achievements including a master's degree in education from New York University and doctoral studies at the University of Southern Mississippi, and her 36-year career as a counselor at Harrison Central High School until retirement.

Acknowledges her numerous awards and honors including Woman of the Year, Outstanding Leadership Award, and recognition by Seta Sorority for Outstanding Contribution to Mankind.

Notes her active involvement in St. Mark United Methodist Church and her pioneering role among the first to integrate the staff at Harrison Central High School.

Expresses deepest sympathy to her surviving daughter Jean, step-granddaughters, god-daughters, and extended family and friends.
