Commends Mrs. Carla Falkner, a history instructor at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, for receiving the Mississippi Humanities Council's 2013 Humanities Educator Award.

Recognizes Mrs. Falkner's over 20 years of work with the Mississippi Humanities Council, including eight years of service on its Board of Directors.

Acknowledges her creation of humanities programming at Northeast Mississippi Community College, including studies on food-related issues and racial reconciliation that encourage critical thinking among students.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mrs. Falkner, the President of Northeast Community College, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
