Commends the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) and its volunteer program for serving as ambassadors and hospitality specialists at the State Capitol.

Recognizes that the MDAH volunteer/docent program was established in summer 2012 at the Legislature's invitation to work on the first floor of the Capitol with the Capitol Curator and Visitor Services Coordinator.

Acknowledges the volunteers' extensive knowledge, warmth, and people skills in providing visitor information and guided tours while many volunteers serve multiple other MDAH sites.

Designates MDAH volunteers as official ambassadors and hospitality specialists for the State Capitol and recognizes them as role models for volunteer engagement.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
