Honors Mr. Robert Henry Bramlett, Sr., who passed away on March 7, 2013, for his life of meritorious service and legacy as a soldier and public servant.

Recognizes his 23 years of dedicated service in the United States Army Special Forces, including service during the Vietnam Conflict where he was wounded in Laos and earned the Purple Heart, three Bronze Stars, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Soldiers Medal.

Commends his post-military advocacy work for veterans in Pontotoc, including serving as member and past Commander of American Legion Post 16 for over 20 years and Disabled American Veterans in Tupelo, plus personally assisting veterans with VA disability claims and transportation for treatment.

Acknowledges his charitable contributions including nine years on the American Red Cross Board, financial support for educational scholarships in northeast Mississippi, and active support of American Legion Boys State, Girls State, and Baseball programs.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Bramlett's five sons (Robert, Randall, Regan, Russell, and Ryan) and to members of the Capitol Press Corps.
