Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which had been tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 extends repealers on four code sections of Mississippi Medicaid Law that are set to expire on July 1, 2013, including the Division of Medicaid (Section 43-13-107) and Medicaid facility assessment funding (Section 43-13-145).

Notes that Senate Bill No. 2207 remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee and is the only remaining vehicle to address the expiring Medicaid provisions.

Contends that failure to extend the repealers before July 1, 2013 would be disastrous for Medicaid recipients and providers.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to the House Rules Committee and Capitol Press Corps.
