Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider its February 14, 2013 vote tabling Senate Bill No. 2207 and pass it out of committee for a full House vote.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including Section 43-13-107 (Division of Medicaid) and Section 43-13-145 (healthcare facility assessments including hospital assessments).

Notes that SB 2207 remains alive under House and Joint Rules until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee, and is the only remaining bill available to address the expiring Medicaid provisions.

Emphasizes that failure to extend the repealers before July 1, 2013 would have disastrous consequences for Medicaid recipients and providers.

Requires copies of the resolution be provided to the House Rules Committee and Capitol Press Corps.
