Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider its February 14, 2013 vote to table Senate Bill No. 2207 or suspend committee rules to allow further action on the bill.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four code sections of Mississippi Medicaid Law scheduled to take effect July 1, 2013, including provisions establishing the Division of Medicaid and providing healthcare facility assessments for program funding.

Notes that Senate Bill No. 2207 remains technically alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported from committee and is the only remaining legislative vehicle to address the pending repealers.

States that failure to extend the repealers would cause significant harm to Medicaid recipients and providers, making passage before the end of the 2013 Regular Session imperative.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to the House Rules Committee and Capitol Press Corps.
