Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which the committee tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections that are scheduled to expire on July 1, 2013, including provisions establishing the Division of Medicaid and funding mechanisms for the program.

Notes that despite being tabled, Senate Bill No. 2207 remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee.

States that failure to extend the repealers before July 1, 2013 would be disastrous for Medicaid recipients and providers, and SB 2207 is the only remaining vehicle to address this issue during the 2013 Regular Session.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to the House Rules Committee and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
