Requests the House Rules Committee to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207 and pass it out of committee for a full House vote.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend the repeal dates on four code sections of Mississippi Medicaid Law set to expire July 1, 2013, including Section 43-13-107 (Division of Medicaid) and Section 43-13-145 (facility assessment funding).

The Rules Committee tabled Senate Bill No. 2207 on February 14, 2013, but the bill remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee.

The Rules Committee may reconsider its vote to table the bill or vote to suspend its own committee rules to allow further action on Senate Bill No. 2207.

Failure to extend the Medicaid repealers before July 1, 2013 would negatively impact Medicaid recipients and providers.
