Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which had been tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including provisions creating the Division of Medicaid and providing healthcare facility assessment funding.

Notes that Senate Bill No. 2207 remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee and is the only remaining vehicle to address the Medicaid repealers.

Urges the Rules Committee to pass the bill out of committee to allow a full House vote, stating that failure to extend the repealers would be disastrous for Medicaid recipients and providers.

Directs copies of the resolution to be provided to the House Rules Committee and Capitol Press Corps.
