Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which the committee tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 extends repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including the Division of Medicaid and healthcare facility assessment funding provisions.

Notes that Senate Bill No. 2207 remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee and is the only remaining bill to address the expiring Medicaid provisions.

States that failure to extend the repealers would be disastrous for Medicaid recipients and providers, making immediate legislative action imperative before the end of the 2013 Regular Session.
