Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which the committee tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including provisions establishing the Division of Medicaid and funding sources from healthcare facility assessments.

Notes that Senate Bill No. 2207 remains viable until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported from committee and is the only remaining legislation available to address the Medicaid repealers.

Emphasizes that failure to extend the repealers before July 1, 2013 would create disastrous consequences for Medicaid recipients and providers.

Directs that copies of the resolution be distributed to the House Rules Committee and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
