Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which the committee tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including sections establishing the Division of Medicaid and providing healthcare facility assessment funding.

Notes that SB 2207 remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported from committee, and is the only remaining vehicle to address the expiring Medicaid provisions.

Requests the Rules Committee pass SB 2207 out of committee to allow a full House vote before the end of the 2013 Regular Session to prevent disruption to Medicaid recipients and providers.
