Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207, which the committee tabled on February 14, 2013.

Senate Bill No. 2207 would extend repealers on four Mississippi Medicaid Law code sections scheduled to expire July 1, 2013, including provisions creating the Division of Medicaid and authorizing healthcare facility assessments for program funding.

Notes that SB 2207 remains viable until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported from committee and is the only remaining vehicle to address the impending repealers.

Emphasizes that failure to extend the repealers would be disastrous for Medicaid recipients and providers and urges the Legislature to act before the end of the 2013 regular session.
