Requests the House Rules Committee to reconsider or suspend its rules to take further action on Senate Bill No. 2207 and pass it out of committee for a full House vote.

Four code sections of the Mississippi Medicaid Law are subject to repealers taking effect July 1, 2013, including Section 43-13-107 which creates the Division of Medicaid and Section 43-13-145 which provides substantial Medicaid funding through facility assessments.

The Rules Committee tabled Senate Bill No. 2207 on February 14, 2013, but the bill remains alive until the March 5, 2013 deadline for Senate bills to be reported out of committee.

Senate Bill No. 2207 is the only remaining vehicle available to extend the repealers before the July 1, 2013 deadline, and failure to extend them would be "disastrous" for Medicaid recipients and providers.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to the House Rules Committee and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
