Commends Mr. Buster Davis, a native of Cotton Springs and long-time Fulton businessman, for five decades of visionary leadership in community, educational, and economic development across Lee and Itawamba Counties and Northeast Mississippi.

Recognizes Davis's role as former Director of the Appalachian Regional Commission in directing more than $15 million to Itawamba Community College campuses and his continued support of the institution.

Acknowledges Davis's instrumental involvement in major Itawamba County development projects since 1962, including attracting Mueller Copper Tube to Fulton, preserving the Mississippian Railway, and opening the Fulton Port on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.

Honors Davis for raising approximately $50,000 annually for 18 years through bluegrass/gospel concerts for the Regional Rehabilitation Center and raising $5 million for the Tammy Wynette Memorial Park in Tremont.

Recognizes Davis as a former state grand slam winning basketball coach and successful automotive entrepreneur whose Davis Ford Sales dealership has operated for 49 years as of March 2013 and received the President's Award 12 of 13 years for customer satisfaction.
