Requires advanced practice registered nurses to notify the board of changes in practice site or changes in certification category, rather than changes in collaborative relationships.

Emphasizes that collaboration among health care providers should be pursued voluntarily to ensure patients receive the highest level of care, with the board conducting periodic site visits to protect public health and safety.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
