Creates the Erin's Law Study Committee comprised of six members: three senators appointed by the Lieutenant Governor (including the Senate Education Committee Chairman) and three representatives appointed by the Speaker (including the House Education Committee Chairman).

Committee shall study the feasibility of adopting a sexual abuse prevention curriculum for kindergarten through grade 5 students in Mississippi school districts.

Curriculum under review must be evidence-based, age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, include at least four programs annually, include professional training for school personnel on disclosure handling and mandated reporting, and encourage parental involvement.

Committee members shall hold their first meeting by August 1, 2013, elect leadership, and submit findings and recommendations to the Governor and Legislature by January 1, 2014, at which time the committee will be dissolved.

State Department of Education shall provide necessary staff and support; committee members may be reimbursed from their respective house contingent expense fund with Rules Committee approval.
