Replaces the term "vulnerable adult" with "vulnerable person" throughout Mississippi Code sections 11-7-165, 37-29-232, 37-33-157, 37-115-41, 43-1-4, 43-1-55, 43-11-13, 43-53-9, 45-33-23, 45-33-36, 45-33-47, 45-39-13, 47-7-3, and 97-3-7 to conform with terminology changes enacted by House Bill 640 (2010).

Updates criminal history check requirements, background screening procedures, and disqualifying offense lists across healthcare, education, and human services employment contexts to use consistent "vulnerable person" terminology.

Maintains all existing penalties, procedures, and substantive provisions related to crimes against vulnerable persons, including enhanced assault penalties and sex offender registration requirements.

Aligns statutory language across civil remedies for theft/embezzlement of vulnerable person property and criminal statutes addressing abuse and exploitation.
