Requires Mississippi professional and occupational licensing boards to issue licenses, certifications, or registrations to military spouses who hold equivalent credentials from another state and are in good standing with no disciplinary history

Mandates licensing boards to issue temporary practice permits to military spouses licensed in other jurisdictions with substantially equivalent standards while they complete full licensure requirements

Military spouses with temporary permits receive priority processing of their license applications

Applicants must demonstrate competency through methods determined by each board, such as continuing education or recent work experience

Does not apply to the practice of law or regulation of attorneys; takes effect July 1, 2013
