Amends Section 23-15-227 of the Mississippi Code to provide mileage reimbursement for election managers who use privately owned vehicles to transport election materials and supplies.

Managers or other persons performing election duties receive reimbursement for each mile traveled in excess of 10 miles at the federal employee mileage rate for official travel.

Existing compensation of $10 per voting precinct for transporting ballots, ballot boxes, pollbooks and other necessities remains unchanged, with mileage reimbursement added as supplemental compensation.

Board of supervisors authorizes and pays all compensation from the county treasury.

Requires submission of the act to the U.S. Attorney General or U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia under the Voting Rights Act of 1965 before implementation.
