Appropriates $7,284,121.00 from the State General Fund to the Department of Public Safety, Division of Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol for fiscal year 2014.

Funds designated to cover expenses for a 60-member Highway Patrol trooper training class conducted at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

Authorizes 60 permanent full-time positions to replace retired active patrol officers and prepare for potential future retirements.

Effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
