Authorizes the Mississippi Department of Corrections Commissioner to operate any wireless communication blocking system approved by the Federal Communications Commission within correctional facilities.

The blocking system is designed to intercept or prevent offenders from using unauthorized wireless communication devices while incarcerated.

Requires the commissioner to establish rules governing the blocking systems in accordance with the Mississippi Administrative Procedures Act.

Establishes that violations of rules authorized under this section are misdemeanors punishable by up to one year imprisonment, a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
