Requires applicants for agricultural and livestock theft investigator positions with the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau to submit to polygraph examinations as part of the employment application process.

Maintains existing requirement that investigators be certified as law enforcement officers and complete at least a nine-week training course in accordance with Section 45-6-11.

Clarifies that constable training curriculum and part-time law enforcement certification requirements are insufficient for meeting investigator certification requirements under this statute.

Changes reference from "State Tax Commission" to "Department of Revenue" regarding cooperation with the theft bureau in investigating violations of agricultural laws.

Effective upon passage.
