Amends Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code in Mississippi law to conform to the 2010 amendments of the Uniform Commercial Code, effective July 1, 2013

Modifies definitions and procedures for secured transactions, including changes to how debtors are named in financing statements, how electronic chattel paper is controlled, and requirements for financing statement filings

Updates provisions regarding security interest perfection, priority, and enforcement, including new rules for debtor name changes and collateral transfers across jurisdictions

Establishes transition rules for financing statements filed before the effective date, allowing them to remain effective under specified conditions and procedures

Makes conforming amendments to related code sections governing warranties, funds transfers, and lease agreements
