Appropriates $5,570,421 from the State General Fund and $6,539,137 from special funds to the State Department of Audit for fiscal year 2014 (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014)

Authorizes 165 permanent full-time positions, 3 permanent part-time positions, and 14 time-limited full-time positions for the department

Establishes performance targets including 40 completed audits, 89,450 billable audit hours, and 7,500 technical assistance inquiries for FY2014

Allocates $30,000 for CPA Review Course fees for department employees, to be reimbursed by employees over 12 months

Grants authority to receive and expend up to $1,500,000 in additional funds from any source and exempts the department from certain salary increase restrictions that apply to other state agencies
