Commends Dr. Virgil F. Belue of Clinton, Mississippi for 60 years of public service upon his retirement from the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) Board of Trustees after serving 17 years.

Recognizes Dr. Belue's career including service as Superintendent of Clinton Schools (1970-1992), U.S. Air Force service, teaching positions in multiple Mississippi school districts, and university instruction at Mississippi State University and Mississippi College.

Notes Dr. Belue's educational credentials including an Ed.D. from Mississippi State University and certifications in teaching, school administration, guidance and counseling.

Highlights his 17 years of perfect attendance at PERS Board meetings and active involvement in Mississippi Retired Public Employees' Associations and other civic organizations.

Directs the resolution be presented to Dr. Belue, forwarded to the PERS Executive Director, and distributed to the Capitol Press Corps.
