Designates March 2013 as "Women's History Month in Mississippi" with the theme "Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)"

Recognizes women's contributions to American education, noting that women now outnumber men in American colleges and that Title IX (1972/1977) prohibited gender discrimination in federally funded institutions

Acknowledges women's critical economic, cultural, and social roles throughout U.S. history, including their work in the labor force, volunteer service, and establishment of charitable and cultural institutions

Directs the Mississippi Commission on the Status of Women to observe appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities in recognition of the designation

Notes that Mississippi established the Commission on the Status of Women in 2001 to advise the Legislature and executive branch on policies affecting women in the state
