Commends Shannon High School junior Alivia Roberts of Shannon, Mississippi, for receiving the 2013 Prudential Spirit of Community Award as a Distinguished Finalist.

Recognizes Roberts' volunteer work collecting 250 used cell phones for Hope Phones, a charitable organization that sells recycled phones to purchase new ones for healthcare workers in developing countries.

Notes the Prudential Spirit of Community Award is in its 18th year and presented by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals to honor young volunteers across America.

Acknowledges that state-level judges selected Distinguished Finalists based on criteria including personal initiative, creativity, effort, impact, and personal growth, with ten State Honorees to be named America's top youth volunteers.
