Recognizes Nissan's 10-year anniversary of automotive manufacturing in Canton, Mississippi, celebrating a decade of vehicle production since the plant's grand opening on May 27, 2003.

Acknowledges Nissan's $2 billion investment in Mississippi, direct manufacturing workforce of over 5,000 employees with annual payroll exceeding $200 million, and estimated $846 million annual wage impact to the state.

Highlights Nissan's manufacturing achievements including production of 2 million vehicles by May 2011, manufacturing of 7 different vehicle models, receipt of ENERGY STAR Certification for 7 consecutive years, and plans to produce the Murano SUV in Canton beginning in 2014.

Notes Nissan's philanthropic contributions of more than $7 million in charitable donations since 2003 and support for approximately 200 organizations serving the Greater Jackson area.
