Amends Joint Rule No. 40 of the Mississippi Legislature to add a provision prohibiting the legislature from convening on Easter Sunday.

The new provision appears as the 83rd day/118th day in the legislative timetable and requires that all other deadlines adjust accordingly if Easter Sunday falls during a legislative session.

Maintains all existing deadlines for bill processing, committee reports, and conference reports by inserting a blank day when Easter Sunday occurs.

Any deviation from the established legislative schedule requires passage of a concurrent resolution adopted by a two-thirds vote of both houses present and voting.
