Requires municipal governing authorities to provide all on-duty police officers with video cameras featuring audio capability to be worn on their uniforms while on patrol.

Makes video cameras part of the standard equipment that municipalities must furnish to police forces under Mississippi Code Section 21-21-3.

Establishes that any police officer who fails to wear the required camera while on duty is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $1,000, imprisonment up to 6 months, or both.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
