Adds exemption from child care facility licensing requirements for summer day camps that operate during May, June, July, and/or August only.

Summer day camps must operate for a minimum of 28 business days and a maximum of 16 weeks to qualify for the exemption.

Exempted summer day camps are not required to meet other child care facility licensing provisions, though they may voluntarily obtain a license and become subject to all provisions if they choose to do so.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
