Entities convicted of intentionally hiring or employing illegal aliens become ineligible to receive state or political subdivision financial assistance, including bond proceeds, loans, grants, or other financial aid.

Entities that received financial assistance funds prior to conviction must repay the full amount of funds derived from bonds, loans, grants, or other financial assistance upon conviction.

Defines "illegal alien" as any person not a U.S. citizen, except those lawfully admitted for residence or employment under federal law or by the U.S. Attorney General.

Applies to any person, business, enterprise, industry, or other legal entity convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
