Amends Section 43-19-47 of the Mississippi Code to clarify compensation for full-time staff attorneys employed by the Child Support Unit of the Department of Human Services.

Establishes minimum annual salaries of $40,000 for staff attorneys and $50,000 for senior attorneys, with the Mississippi Personnel Board required to survey and adjust start step salaries annually based on other Attorney General's Office attorneys.

Adds provision for staff attorneys to receive 10% of any attorney's fees collected by the Child Support Unit for cases they work to completion, in addition to base salary.

Allows the Department of Human Services Executive Director to enter cooperative agreements with district attorneys, county attorneys, and county board attorneys to assist with child support proceedings, funded by state or county appropriations.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
