Amends Section 97-37-1 to prohibit possession of any weapon specifically prohibited by federal law, adding this category to existing concealed weapons restrictions.

Amends Section 97-37-7 to clarify that permits issued to bank guards, company guards, and other security personnel shall not authorize possession of any weapon specifically prohibited by federal law.

Amends Section 45-9-101 to clarify that concealed pistol or revolver licenses issued by the Department of Public Safety shall not authorize possession of any weapon specifically prohibited by federal law.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
